National AMT Day
To commemorate National AMT Day on May 23, MAC, CSA, and WASI dedicated time to celebrate the hard-working and dedicated mechanics we are privileged to work with. With catered lunches and a special gift given to each mechanic, the day was filled with gratitude and celebration. A heartfelt thank you to our AMTs for ensuring the smooth operation of our aircraft and services.
This week, FedEx FAO Safety Manager, Nate Eisenman, visited headquarters in Denver to conduct a safety audit and to discuss the Purple Runway Program. The safety audit was successful, and FedEx was pleased with the improved usage of the OmniSMS program and processing of reports. Overall, the visit was productive and inspiring, highlighting the commitment of both FedEx and Mr. Eisenman to continuous improvement and excellence in safety standards.
Local School Receives MAC’s Book Drive Donation!
In celebration of World Book Day, MAC launched a book drive in April to gather gently used children’s books (grades K-5) for G.E. Massey Elementary School in Lincoln County. The Employee Engagement Committee at MAC had the opportunity to donate all the collected books to the elementary school this week.
The book drive was a huge success, with a total of 127 books donated by our employees! These books will offer new reading opportunities for the students at G.E. Massey and contribute to their reading achievements. As MAC expands its “MAC Gives Back” initiative, we are proud to have assisted the children in our local community and are so thankful for our team’s generosity!

Purdue University Aviation Day
Chief Pilot Pete Tutak and Captain Sean Archer recently attended Purdue Aviation Day. Captain Archer is a Purdue University alumnus and was an ideal representative for MAC, as he still has many friends, students and peers at Purdue who were eager to see him and learn about what life is like as a pilot for MAC. Chief Pilot Pete Tutak is a regular attendee to Purdue events, and he stated that it was good to see the students that return to see us each visit. Recruiting Event at Purdue University's Aviation Technology Spring Career Fair
Earlier this month, MAC’s Chief Pilot, Pete Tutak, had the pleasure of returning to Purdue University for their Spring Career Fair. This event is extremely important in order to build relationships and recruit potential pilots for MAC. The opportunity to connect with eager and talented students who aspire to take to the skies is always a highlight for Pete.
“It’s always exciting to represent MAC when visiting Purdue University and searching for our next generation of pilots. Visiting Purdue University is also rewarding because it has allowed me to meet individuals for the first time where I can share my passion for the company, bridging the gap between being an inquisitive pilot and seeing them successfully joining the MAC Family.” -Pete Tutak
