Purple Eagle Dedication 2024

The annual FedEx St. Jude Championship took place this week, featuring the beloved Purple Eagle Dedication event. This year, the St. Jude Purple Eagle Honoree is Miach! Micah is the 12th honoree of the Purple Eagle Program, which honors a St. Jude patient who has a parent or a grandparent who works for FedEx. What is the Purple Eagle Dedication? FedEx Express began a tradition in 2012 of naming a FedEx Cessna Caravan aircraft in honor of a FedEx employee’s child who is a St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital patient. The Annual dedication is held at TPC Southwind, home of the FedEx St. Jude Invitational Golf Tournament in Memphis, TN.
MAC and CSA Air are extremely proud to have the opportunity to sponsor and attend this incredible event and support the work being done by St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The FedEx St. Jude Championship holds a special place in our hearts as it brings together our passion for aviation and our commitment to making a difference in the lives of children in need.
“We are proud to be part of the FedEx Feeder Network and to participate in such a great cause.” Todd Silverstone, General Manager and Director of Operations of CSA AIR.
“The only named feeder planes in our supplemental fleet are the ones that are part of the Purple Eagle program. These planes are special and help us spread the word about the amazing work being done by St. Jude.” -Bill West, VP, Airline Safety
